APQP Engineering

Magna Eagle Bend Manufacturing is hiring an experience APQP Engineer to coordinate the Advance Product Quality Planning activities for the Engineering department.

Compensation: This position is Salary base DOE, relocation allowance at the discretion of the hiring unit based on recruitment needs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Eagle Bend’s APQP activities in support of customer programs to ensure on-time and on-budget launch of new programs
• Lead Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FEMA) process activities for new programs
• Review gage designs and quotes in accordance with Control Plans
• Interface with customer, Product Engineering & Sales, Quality, and Manufacturing
• Lead cross-functional team(s) and participate in regular team meetings to document open issues and actions in support of launch; ensure compliance with Cosma Program Management Process (CPMP)

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (College-level courses, technical background in quality and/or engineering sciences)
• Program Management, Project Engineering, and/or Quality Systems
• FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis), Catia, AutoCAD helpful
• 2 – 4 years’ experience required, preferably at tier-one supplier

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
