About the Role
We are looking for a driven and proactive Project Scheduler to manage the development of our electric propulsion system. As an Integrated Planning and Scheduling Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the company’s master integrated schedule by creating resource plans, level loading the work packages, identifying critical paths, and running scenario simulations to identify schedule compression opportunities. You will bring in your project management skills, collaborate with the program management team to deliver an analysis of the schedule and cost of the program.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create a Master Schedule that can be used for detailed work package planning
- Create and maintain a capacity plan to level load the program according to company priorities
- Produce weekly risk and schedule reports that identify critical paths and chokepoints as well as upcoming deadlines.
- Verify availability of program resources, develop a schedule, and perform conflict resolution with the operations and project management teams
- Work with operations project team leaders in deriving scheduling requirements for ongoing and upcoming projects
- Prioritize and coordinate customer's requests for program resources to meet project requirements
- Maintain and update the daily and weekly schedule and the long-range calendar
- Review daily timesheets
- Review project budget daily
- Prepare weekly Utilization Reports
- Review pipeline and determine hiring needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Experience with managing NASA or other US government-related projects
- At least 5 years of project/program management work experience including planning, scheduling, and/or risk assessment
- Strong familiarity with Critical Path Methods (CPM)
- Strong familiarity with Earn value Management and DCMA 14 point assessment.
- Solid MS Excel skills, along with other MS Office Products
- Proactive approach, problem-solving skills, and analytical mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively support and work well with people from different disciplines and cultures
- Superior organizational skills and detail-oriented to ensure accuracy and quality
- Strong client-facing and internal communication skills
- Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change
- Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines
- Strong knowledge and proven experience in utilizing business principles, concepts, practices, and standards
- Ability to work in a team setting, coordinating group initiatives in order to bring a project to completion
- Must have a positive attitude and be willing to take initiative

This position's approximate base salary range is $70,000-$100,000 annually, depending on experience.
