WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
It was a well-intentioned and innocent idea. It seemed that most boutiques on Maui back in 2006 were beyond reach for the thousands of women who live and work on the island. Mahina’s co-founders thought a boutique that sold stylish clothing at more affordable prices may meet their needs.They didn't imagine that Mahina would not only become a local favorite but that visitors would also flock to their stores. And since that first store opened in Paia, Mahina has grown to a 16-store chain on Maui, Oahu, Kauai and the Big Island.
POSITION DETAILS
We are looking for a sales associate for our Poipu location. Our perfect candidate is friendly, efficient, reliable and has a heart for service and an eye for fashion.
Please note; this is not a seasonal position
Store hours: 10am- 8pm daily
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced customer service skills.
- Positive attitude and outlook.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong multitasking skills.
- Ability to stand and move around the store for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
- Experience preferred.
- Must be available for at least one weekend shift and holidays.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Greet and assist customers in a hospitable manner.
- Stay informed about merchandise, sales, and promotions.
- Provide styling recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Operate the POS system and handle transactions.
- Maintain store cleanliness and restock inventory in high and low areas.
- Handle refunds, returns, and exchanges with a focus on customer service.
