GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sr. Wealth Advisor will be responsible for supporting and implementing MAI’s full service approach towards comprehensive wealth management. This person will manage high net worth client relationships by providing financial guidance and developing individualized plans tailored to client needs.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the primary contact in supporting client’s overall financial planning needs (fact gathering, objectives, analyzing, recommendations, presenting, implementing, and monitoring).
Generate guidance reports related to cash flow, estate, retirement, gift, charitable, tax and insurance planning.
Consistently and proactively engage with clients and their immediate families.
Develop strong product knowledge and client relationship management skills.
Regularly monitor and rebalance client portfolios to adhere to IPS guidelines.
Acquire, develop, and retain assets within existing client base.
Participate in Investment, Wealth Planning, and Alternative Investment group discussions to stay abreast on company-wide thinking and opportunities.
EXPERIENCE/CREDENTIALS
Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field.
7-10 years’ experience in an RIA/Investment Management Firm or other type of Financial Services.
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) required.
Additional Wealth Management certifications, designations, or licensing a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
