Performs pre purchase evaluation of equipment.• Is responsible for assuring the timely completion of all repairs and inspections, for his units as well as others who report to him.• Supervises biomedical technicians and day to day work flow and job assignments, and insures unit responsibilities and inspections are up to date.• Perform all performance appraisals for those technicians who directly report to the Coordinator.• Service complex medical instrumentation including life support and life saving devices.

Position: Coordinator, Biomedical Instrumentation
Shift: Day Shift

Experience:
• Minimum of eight years biomedical experience required.

• Minimum of one year related data base experience preferred.

• Minimum of one year supervisory experience preferred


Education:
• Candidates for this position require a combination of training, education, and/or experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the above duties.

• Associate’s Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline required.

• Bachelor’s degree in appropriate engineering discipline preferred


Licensures/Certifications:
• CBET- (Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician) preferred
