The Town of Hollis is seeking to fill a full-time position of Town Planner. The position is responsible for performing land-use review functions and works under the general supervision of the Town Administrator.
The Town Planner is responsible for review of subdivision and site plan submissions for residential, commercial, and industrial development proposals. Responsible for the development and amendment of zoning ordinances, subdivision, and site plan regulations. The position conducts review and assessment of land use codes and coordinates the Town’s master plan. Position assists employees, public officials, and developers with questions regarding the Town’s zoning, subdivision, and site plan regulations.
Attendance at evening board meetings is required. The successful applicant must be well-organized, professional, and possess a positive work attitude. Bachelor’s degree in municipal planning, community development, public administration or related field. Three years of responsible planning experience in municipal, state or regional position or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of required knowledge, skills and ability.
This is an exempt position with a salary range of $65,000 - $84,000 with a competitive benefit package DOQ/DOE. The Town of Hollis is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
