Opportunity Description
Maine Pilates is looking for friendly and motivated pilates instructors who are passionate about teaching Mat, Reformer, Chair group and/or private sessions.
Responsibilities:
- Create a positive, memorable, and impactful experience with each client.
- Design an effective and safe sequence that accommodates all body types and injuries.
- Offer modifications, progressions, and variations to keep clients safe and challenged.
- Maintain a clean and professional environment in all areas of the studio.
Essential Skills:
- Certification from an accredited entity (STOTT, BASI, Peak Pilates, Balanced Body, etc).
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and on social media.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service attitude.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Teaching group classes preferred but not required
- Teaching 1-1 private or semi-private classes preferred but not required
