Job Description: The Role: Senior Pharmacy Technician This position provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the pharmacy The Opportunity: To join a state-of-the-art facility and work with a dedicated team who makes a difference in the local community's healthcare every day MaineGeneral Health offers a generous salary and benefit package with the opportunity for growth within the company The Work: Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems and prepares compounds within scope of practice Provides advanced level of support to peers, pharmacists, internal and external customers. Assists in new policy and procedure development and implementation, as well as staff mentoring and training Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy and other service departments Assists in monitoring and performing various quality tasks to assure regulatory compliance You Have: Maine state licensure as a Pharmacy Technician or eligible for the same through reciprocation required Certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required Experience in healthcare or hospitality industry preferred Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Scheduled Work Shift: Job Exempt: No Benefits: Supporting all aspects of our employees’ wellness – physical, emotional and financial – is a critical component of being a great place to work.
