Position Summary
-
This is clinical work, performing diagnostic radiographic procedures for use in the evaluation of patients. Work also includes instruction of students and assisting with clerical functions. Work is performed independently under general supervision and is reviewed by the Diagnostic Supervisor (with physician feedback) through adherence to established procedures and protocols, and by observation and discussion of results achieved. Can be rotated to any SMHC campus that offers Diagnostic Imaging. This department is a 24/7 department.

This position in at the Pain Clinic in Kennebunk and hours could be increased to 40 if applicant was interested.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: Completion of a formal AMA approved two year course is preferred.

License/Certifications: BLS is required within 60 days of date of hire. Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and the State of Maine required.

Experience: Minimum of one month experience required.

Must be able to take call and be on site within 45 minutes.

Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Must be able to flex based on department volumes/demands.
