Warehouse Supervisor – Lowell, MA
Classification: Non-exempt status
Reports to: Warehouse Operations Manager

Position Summary: This newly developed “Hands-On” Supervisory position is responsible for overseeing the daily warehouse operation processes including planning, organization, and participation in the following areas: Inventory Control, Parts, Sales Order Picking, Pre-delivery, and Shipping/Receiving. This person will be instrumental in setting up and running our new warehouse. The onboarding/training period will take place for the most part at our Scarborough, ME warehouse with a duration of approximately 3 months. The position will eventually be based full-time out of our Lowell, MA facility once it is up and running in late October/early November.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
- Oversees the daily workflow of the warehouse: schedule and organize staff accordingly to meet the overall warehouse operation expectations
- Unloads receives and organizes all materials and products including hot tubs, saunas, swim spas, and miscellaneous chemicals and accessories
- Performs general housekeeping and cleaning duties throughout the warehouse
- Supervises parts room activities which include receiving inbound/outbound parts/materials, weekly parts order fulfillment for service techs along with “just in time” inventory pulls as requested
- Assists and supports service techs with any parts/inventory questions
- Picks daily sales orders (hot tubs, swim spas, saunas, etc.) and other related materials/accessories and stage for the delivery crew's morning pick up
- Completes daily audit of outbound shipments/materials to ensure the accuracy of process and procedure
- Assists in all aspects of inventory control including cycle counts and year-end physical counts.
- Maintains order documentation of stock movements to and from the warehouse
- Oversees and trains in all aspects of the pre-delivery process to ensure all requested enhancements are completed for each unit
- Participates in warehouse safety /security programs and training activities
Requirements
Requirements/Qualifications:
Ability to travel to Scarborough, ME warehouse at least three times a week during onboarding/training period. (A vehicle will be provided during this training period)
Supervisory experience with proven leadership abilities
Thorough understanding of warehouse operation procedures including safety compliance/training requirements
Solid forklift experience; certification preferred
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
Solid verbal/written communication skills; ability to collaborate with other departments
General mechanical knowledge and aptitude
Ability to work independently and collaborate as a team player
Must be computer literate and have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications
Some overtime may be required during the busy season
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 100 pounds at a time
Regular lifting, bending & kneeling
Schedule: Minimum 40 hours with core hours 7:00 am-4:00 pm/Monday through Friday
Compensation: $28-30/hourly rate (DOE)
Salary : $28 - $30
