What are the responsibilities and job description for the Job Coach- Pantry position at Mains'l?
Mains'l has the privilege of offering person-centered individualized hourly support to our community. The role of a Job Coach is to guide people to greater independence in the community through practical job training. We are seeking passionate Job Coaches to assist supported employees with developmental disabilities, teaching them vocational, social and self-advocacy skills.

Statues: Part-time to start 20-30 hours, with the possibility of being full time in the future
Pay Rate: $16.00 / $16.25 following 90 days of employment and trainings
Schedule: between the hours of 9:00a-3:00p (potentially additional hours in Prep Academy and Community Internship)
The Job Coach will be responsible for:
- Daily Coaching of Supported Employees; teaching them professional, social, and self-advocating skills
- Maintaining positive relationships with local stakeholders
- Driving deliveries to Chico, Magalia, Oroville and Gridley (either in a company vehicle or in a personal car with mileage reimbursement). You will be in a car 80% of the time.
- Placing and picking up food from grocery stores
- Coaching Supported Employees through packing bags, labeling items, creating alternative plans for customers who have food allergies, and preparing for deliveries.
- Supporting and coaching individuals out in the community at their own internship/positions of employment
- Community Involvement, and connectedness
Requirements:
- Valid Drivers’ license
- Reliable transportation with valid insurance coverage
- Ability to pass a background check through the Department of Human Services

Pay Scale:
Min Pay/ Starting Rate: $16.00
Training: $16.25 (Following completion of 90 days and new hire trainings)
1 Year: $16.75 (Following the completion of 1 Year of experience in role at Mains’l)
3 Year: $17.25 (Following the completion of 3 Years of experience in role at Mains’l)
5 Year: $17.75 (Following the completion of 5 Years of experience in role at Mains’l)
Max Pay Rate: $17.75
