What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Manager position at Major Hyundai?
Responsibilities:
- Other duties as assigned;
- Maintain a parts team through hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, and performance management in a safe environment;
- Exercise disciplined expense control;
- Assists in analyzing departmental operations and storage layout and revises as needed for maximum effectiveness;
- Optimize Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction;
- Handle and resolve customer complaints courteously and professionally;
- Knowledge and compliance with the federal, state, and local regulations that affect operation;
- Maintain a stabilized inventory consistent with the requirements of the defined areas;
- Accomplish objectives through the use of proper purchasing procedures and inventory control;
- Keep up-to-date on manufacturer warranty, policy, and return procedures;
- Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them;
- Implement & carry out safety requirements;
- Effectively train and supervise all parts counter associates to meet department and company goals; handle stock order procedures;
- Ensure that all employees follow their assigned work schedules and enforce to the absenteeism, reporting and tardiness policy.
Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
