Responsibilities:
TIPM Technician:
-Diagnose and test PCB both with thru-hole components and surface mount.
-Remove and replace SMT/SMD chips as well as other surface mounted chips by means of soldering and hot air rework.
-Remove and replace thru-hole components
ECM Technician:
-Place micro and mini surface-mounted components on PCBs for conversions and repairs.
-Test and inspect PCBs both with through-hole components and surface mounts.
-Remove, replace, or swap SMT/SMD ICs.
-Identify and recognize electronic ICs and components
Must-Haves:
- Basic knowledge of electronic devices and components
- Hands on experience with workbench tools, soldering iron, and hot rework
- Proficiency in removal and replacement of surface mounted components by means of soldering and hot air rework
- Proficiency with DVM, oscilloscope and other common tools used for PCB work
- Proficiency in trace repair
Nice-to-Haves:
-Soldering certification
-Knowledge of removing and replacing surface mounts
-Degree/license in electronic hardware tech or equivalent
-Expertise in automotive electronic industry
-2 years of steady professional electronic hardware repair
Position Details:
-Monday through Friday, flexible shift options available between 7:00AM to 5:00PM
