Making Cents International is currently seeking a Communications Intern to support communications activities for our company, a social enterprise that advances the social and economic well-being of youth and adults globally. This is an opportunity to turn your knowledge into viable work experience! Use your excellent writing skills to draft engaging content for social media and to tell impactful stories through blogs and articles. Learn how to review communications for consistent tone and voice and compliance with branding and marketing guidelines. To succeed in this role, you must work well in a virtual, deadline-driven, independent environment, and be able to balance more than one task at a time.

As a Making Cents intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learning from experts in a wide range of international development disciplines. You will be exposed to a breadth of expertise, knowledge, and procedures through participation in company-wide meetings and initiative-specific activities. Dedicated time will be set aside to ensure you are able to learn about subject matters of interest to you, and to participate in professional development activities.
Working Conditions:
This position is eligible for either full-time telework (remote work arrangement) or part-time telework (hybrid work arrangement). Making Cents’ corporate office is located in Washington, DC. This intern may work up to a total of six contiguous calendar months
