Shipping Associate

Position Title: Shipping Associate

Department: Shipping

Summary:

Position will be responsible for receiving, packaging and shipping orders to both US and International customers.

Essential Responsibilities:

· Picking product from inventory.

· Packaging and shipping orders.

· Processing both US & International orders

· Maintaining an accurate inventory process

Essential Skills Required:

· High school diploma or equivalent GED

· Ability to read and write

· Basic mathematical skills

· Basic computer skills

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs

· Must be able to keep up in a fast pace environment

· Ability to work well with a team

· Prior warehouse experience is a plus

· Prior shipping/receiving experience is a plus

Physical Demands of the Job:

The minimum physical requirements needed to perform this job include:

• Ability to stand, walk, use hands, fingers and arms over 2/3 of the time
• Ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl 1/3 to 2/3 of the time.
• Ability to talk and hear on a regular basis
• Ability to lift 10 pounds over 2/3 of the time and 25 – 50 1/3 to 2/3 of the time.
• Vision ability including both close and distance vision while being able to distinguish colors and bring them into focus. Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision); ability to judge distances and spatial relations.
• Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)

Work Environment:

Exposure to the following environmental conditions may apply.

· Working near moving mechanical parts over 1/3 to 2/3 of the time

· Working around or near fumes or airborne particles including toxic or caustic chemicals -1/3 – 2/3 of the time

· Work in high, precarious places

· Working around loud noises (examples: jack hammer work, front row rock concert).

· Fumes or airborne particle under 1/3 of the time

· Toxic or caustic chemicals under 1/3 of the time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
