Malone Painting is a locally owned and fast growing company, serving the greater St. Louis area. Our projects range from small residential repaints and remodels to small and medium sized commercial jobs.
Malone Painting is looking for an experienced Production Manager to perform supervisory duties and help in the growth of the business. This includes the activities of employees in the performance of business operations including planning, scheduling and executing work orders, hiring and training painters, overseeing the production of our work, anything required to get jobs produced on time, with high quality and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- This is a scalable management position with the ratio of production to supervision activities based on business growth and operational tempo.
- Position will have LMA (Lead Manager Accountable) responsibilities and will be initially placed on the Malone Painting Leadership Team.
- Recruit, interview, and hire painters, including controlling material and labor costs
- Maintain oversight over all subcontractors, employees, and production
- Train employees on the value and processes around our SOPs
- Provide tools, equipment, and production planning to achieve target hours.
- Manage the production schedule together with Integrator
- Communicate and report daily with employees, customers, and Leadership Team
- Oversee crews and all aspects of production
- Track KPIs through weekly performance reports
- Hold meetings with painters and staff as needed to review SOPs, safety policies, provide additional coaching, and to ensure goals places are being met and excelled
- Provide an extraordinary customer experience
- Perform field visits to ensure high quality work and customer satisfaction
- Must stay up-to-date and ensure that we are in compliance with all required safety requirements for the job site.
- This includes properly addressing issues through action or reporting issues and concern
- Complete necessary administrative paperwork and duties
- Increasing levels of responsibility and leadership available for right candidate

Requirements
- College Degree preferred
- High level of emotional intelligence to lead and get the most out of many types of people
- At least 5 years of experience in the residential/ commercial paint field - knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment and supplies
- At least 3 years of managerial experience
- Ready to work hard and feel appreciated
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Painting Abilities must have all Master Craftsperson level painting skills.
- Must be able to design and implement plans to accomplish jobs in an efficient manner. Organize, direct, correct, motivate, and train people.
- Strong computer and software skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and report daily with employees & customers
- Be a self-starter and not afraid to confront challenges that lie ahead
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Must be able to respond quickly outside of regular working hours to address issues
- Mechanical aptitude - knowledge and skilled in using various hand and power tools
- Basic business math and good written and verbal communication skills to coordinate activities with all levels of management
- Must have valid driver's' license with good driving record and be insurable

Salary : $61,000 - $77,200
