Job Purpose:
The Account Executive, Long Term Care Pharmacy is a results-driven account manager responsible for managing a book of business. They will be responsible for developing an overall territory strategy to meet the goals of business growth through conversion of competitive accounts, new business start-ups, and penetration of existing member accounts with solutions and value-added services. They will be responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and customer relationships within our existing Long Term Care closed door pharmacy accounts while developing new business opportunities within the assigned territory. The Account Executive will provide comprehensive account management covering classes of trade which include pharmaceutical, business products, medical supply, pharmacy technology solutions, network offerings, pharmacy reconciliation, and claim analytics. The Account Executive will be responsible for monitoring sales, providing exceptional service to the member pharmacies, retaining our members as well as maximizing opportunities for growth.
The Account Executive will use a consultative approach to utilize their industry expertise and business acumen to assist member pharmacies in running more efficient and profitable operations.
The Account Executive works to manage, create and build a team environment. This team may consist of an Account Representative, a Network Specialist, and a Business Development Executive and together the team will manage targeted, specific goals for the overall territory.
