The Senior Apprentice Technician has the day-to-day responsibility to perform and complete a multitude of assignments as it relates to the preventative maintenance and repairs of Managed Mobile client fleets. It is critical that the Senior Apprentice Technician can execute their assigned schedule in a timely, efficient, and safe manner that meets the needs of the clients and remains within the guidelines and safety standards established by Managed Mobile. This position is a client facing position that will have a high degree of interaction with diverse groups of individuals. The Senior Apprentice Technician is expected to understand and follow all established safety and working protocols at all times, ensuring all units are Safe, Compliant and Reliable for our Clients.
Responsibilities
Core job functions:
- Perform APM and BPM services
- Perform BIT/DOT Inspections
- High level of competency following and completing assigned work
- Ability to execute assignments with little to no supervision
- Perform a variety of visual inspections with accuracy
- Perform a variety of light repairs and adjustments related to PM inspections and services
- Ability to communicate with diverse groups of individuals on a regular basis
Qualifications
Requires the following skills:
- Knowledge of DOT and CVSA Out of Service Criteria
- Must be able to multi-task while ensuring follow up and execution of required tasks
- High degree of organization and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a high energy individual with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
We require that our Technicians must have:
- Valid CA Driver's License
- Clean driving record and responsible and reliable to handle / manage company’s assigned items, including but not limited to company credit card.
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Strong Work Ethic: ready to develop in their trade while working 8-12 hours per day
