Responsibilities :

  • Moving furniture and equipment as requested using best commercial moving practices at all times.
  • Pack and load items from one location to designated buildings or rooms, assemble new furniture, unpack items, padding and protecting all furniture, turn back and remove carpet when needed, hang white boards, pictures and / or black boards etc.
  • Disassemble and reassemble furniture for moving.
  • Provide labor support for all special events and fulfill any other labor requests as needed.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely distribution of materials.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certification is a plus.
  • Experience using hand tools, dollies, stevedores, flatbeds, power jacks, and handcarts.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to handle manual tasks and lift heavy objects as required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Willingness to adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Able to work as a team member or independently when required.
  • Ability to pass a 7 yr. background investigation and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
