Mancan is seeking motivated and adaptable candidates to join our Weirton-based manufacturing company as Production Facility Operators. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. This position requires individuals who are willing to work day and afternoon shifts, with a starting pay rate of $14 per hour. The position offers a unique opportunity for growth, as it is a temporary-to-permanent role. Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial, and we place a strong emphasis on attendance, flexibility, and a willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities:
Supply raw materials and parts to various production lines according to production schedules.
Efficiently plan and manage changeovers for production lines when transitioning between different products.
Safely transport finished goods away from the work area to designated storage or shipping locations.
Remove waste and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Organize stock and materials to ensure accessibility and minimize downtime during production.
Assist in cardboard cleanup and recycling to maintain a clutter-free workspace.
Job Requirements:

Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively and manage tasks with varying priorities.
Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
Strong commitment to cleanliness, organization, and maintaining a tidy work environment.
Physical ability to walk an average of 10,000 steps per day (approximately 5 miles) during the shift.
Capability to bend, lift, and carry boxes weighing up to 25 lbs., adhering to proper lifting techniques.
Flexibility in work hours, including the ability to work both day and afternoon shifts as required.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities within the production facility.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
