Job Description :

A Welder plays a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of metal structures and components. This position offers a competitive starting wage of $21 per hour and upward, based on the candidate's experience and successful completion of a weld test.

Responsibilities :

1. Welding : Perform various types of welding, such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding, to join metal parts and structures.

2. Reading Blueprints : Interpret technical drawings and welding symbols to execute welding tasks accurately.

3. Weld Inspection : Inspect welded joints for quality, ensuring they meet industry standards and project specifications.

4. Material Preparation : Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, cutting, grinding, and shaping them as required for welding.

5. Welding Equipment : Set up and operate welding machines and equipment, making adjustments as needed for different materials and thicknesses.

6. Safety Compliance : Adhere to safety protocols, wear appropriate protective gear, and maintain a safe work environment.

7. Troubleshooting : Identify and address any welding defects or issues promptly.

8. Documentation : Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and welding parameters.

9. Collaboration : Coordinate with other team members and tradespeople to ensure the completion of projects on time and according to specifications.

Schedule :

• Workdays : Monday to Friday
• Hours : 6 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM
• Some Saturdays may be required, depending on project workload.

Qualifications :

• Welding experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of various welding processes and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.
• Willingness to participate in a resume submission and interview process.
