What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Manchac Technologies, LLC?

Purpose: Accountable for all the company's accounting operations and reports to the CFO or COO.

Desired Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent work experience.

2. 10 years of experience with progressive responsibilities for a company or division of a large company with $25 million or more in annual revenue.

3. Preference is given to a Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations.

4. Must be extremely proficient with excel (e.g. formulaic analysis and pivot tables) and moderate proficiency with Power BI.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Lead, manage, and hold other accounting team members accountable, including outsourced accounting functions.

2. Produce GAAP-based financial statements, create and report financial and operational metrics, and manage the annual Review of financial statements with external auditors.

3. Manage budget preparation, financial modeling, and related analysis and reporting of budget to actual operating results.

4. Mitigate financial reporting risk by maintaining internal controls and processes to govern accounting functions and financial statement preparation.

5. Manage compliance with local, state, and federal government tax reporting in 45 states on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Ensure accounts payable are paid promptly, including appropriate discounts.

2. Ensure accounts receivables are collected promptly.

3. Ensure payroll is processed promptly.

4. Ensure bank reconciliations are completed timely.

5. Ensure debt payments are made timely and accurately.

6. Manage monthly budget reviews with management and report significant variances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $94,000.00 per year
