Responsibilities
Manchester Tank and Equipment is hiring for full time Day Shift Warehouse Lead Person. Responsibilities listed as followed:
- Direct workers engaged in warehouse activities in the most efficient and safe manner possible.
- Training of employees, planning, assigning and directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems in the absence of the department supervisor.
- Reads shipping orders to determine quantity and type of transportation needed.
- Contacts carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for loading products.
- Prepares customer orders for packing (address labels, shippers, pick lists, and distributes to material handlers.
- May operate industrial truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products throughout the work site.
- Prepares bills of lading for shipments.
- Enters data into computer.
