Mancor Industries is a world class precision manufacturer of metal components and sub-assemblies that uses state of the art machining and fabrication techniques to produce high value add, cost effective products for our strategic partners in the North American Truck and Heavy Duty equipment industries.
Position Overview:
Working in Light Assembly, you will be responsible for assembling products using sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners, and when necessary, pack in designated carton according to customer specification sheet and company policies. You will be used to assemble Volvo parts and train in large assembly and other areas. Will need to be able to lift heavy parts.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Performs simple to complex assemblies.
- Understands schedule requirements.
- Uses power and hand tools necessary to the production of parts.
- Maintains inventory of component parts and notify appropriate person when stock is low.
- Prepares product for and understand line sequencing.
- Packs parts on skids or in bins in manner directed by the customer.
- Wears appropriate safety equipment for work being performed and as directed by company policy.
- Maintains a safe work environment through good housekeeping practices.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Successfully complete on-the-job training.
- Physical strength sufficient to lift and carry 25 pounds frequently.
- Physical ability to do work requiring continuous standing, and frequent stooping and bending.
- Sufficient visual acuity to read instructions, operate hand tools, and visually inspect parts produced.
