POSITION: Maintenance Technician I
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor
FLSA Classification: nonexempt
GENERAL SCOPE: The Maintenance Tech is responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure safe and efficient use of all machinery, as well as maintaining general building systems and equipment to meet all food and workplace health and safety standards. The Tech I has experience in multiple maintenance disciplines and works under close supervision while honing skills and knowledge in preparation for the next level.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- H.S. Diploma
- Minimum 1 Years of Maintenance Experience in a similar setting
- Requires strong mechanical and technical skillset
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- The employee frequently is required to work on ladders, lifts and at heights of 20 ft.
- The employee is required to stand, walk, climb and use hands to handle objects, tools or equipment.
- The employee will work in and around the plant and its grounds.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
