Title: Inventory Optimization Supply Chain Process Improvement Manager

The Inventory Optimization Supply Chain Process Improvement Manager will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing and improving company-wide inventory supply chain processes while collaboratively leading corporate initiatives to our supply and distribution partners. Additionally, this individual will lead training and SOP development on best practice processes/procedures required to reduce inaccurate inventory reporting and adhere to leading supply chain processes.
As our Inventory Optimization Supply Chain Process Improvement Manager, you'll make an impact by:
- Monitoring all business activity relating to inventory including purchasing, replenishment, warehousing, shipping and product lifecycle management
- Managing product lifecycle on new and existing products including Commercialization and SKU Rationalization
- Analyzing existing inventory management and supply chain processes through a systematic DMAIC approach and identifying areas of improvement opportunities
- Providing guidance on purchasing strategies for items to meet inventory and supply plan
- Identifying and analyzing root causes and corrective actions on adjustments related to inventory
- Developing SOPs across all stages of inventory management including purchasing, receiving, manufacturing, inventory cycle counting, obsolescence, BOM design. Leveraging design of experiments methodology where applicable
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Operations or Engineering preferred
- Experience in SAP
- 3-5 years of inventory management or related experience
- Strong purchasing and replenishment experience required
