Job Description
The systems engineer provides the business knowledge and technical skills to implement technical strategies, evaluate products and provide a superior level of technical support that benefit PDA programs and products
Possess a broad Technical Capacity by applying domain knowledge and experience in a computing system design environment
Communication Proficiency both written and oral
Maintain a strong customer/client focus; analyze user needs and requirements
Applicants must be a "U.S. Persons" as defined in International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). A "U.S. Person" is a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or an individual who has been admitted as a refugee or granted asylum
Understanding of company goals and objectives
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment including co-worker, contractor, and customer
Willingness to self-develop and maintain additional skills required to perform position
Maintain and communicate status for all active projects
Develop & perform SE evaluations, trade studies, and to recommend implementation
Transform customer requirements into specifications
Coordinates and/or performs additions and changes to hardware and software and attached systems; includes investigation, analysis, recommendation, configuration, installation and testing of new hardware and software
Provides direct support in the day-to-day operations on hardware and software development; duties include evaluation of system utilization, monitoring response time and primary support for detection and correction of operational problems
Participates in planning design, technical review and implementation for new hardware and operating systems for new and existing system designs
Maintains system design standards
Provides technical guidance, training, and support to Engineering staff as designated by the project lead
Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or related field
