Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Linux Systems Administrator to join our team in Quantico, VA.
This position requires the individuals(s) to be eligible and adjudicated to Top Secret (TS SCI) clearance level at contract start.
The Systems Engineer will maintain, update, and secure existing Linux systems on both classified and unclassified networks in support of Cyber investigations and operations. Candidate will be responsible for optimizing, maintaining, and securing Linux systems to ensure optimum performance with minimal downtime. Candidate may also be asked for creative contributions to improve existing processes and for surge support for various initiatives in areas related to their area of expertise.
Travel may be required to support operations.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and at least 4 years of experience as a Systems Administrator to include the following (additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree):

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Extensive experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.X, 8.X, 9.X, with a strong command-line interface (CLI) skillset.
- Experience securing Linux systems with DISA STIG requirements.
- Experience with Red Hat based tools such as Ansible and Red Hat Satellite.
- Familiarity with at least one common scripting language such as Python, Perl, bash, etc.
- Experience with monitoring solutions such as Icinga2 or Nagios Experience and / or willingness to learn DevOps and Automation.
- Familiarity with the DIACAP and/or RMF accreditation processes, specifically with configuring Linux systems in compliance with the Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
- Experience with maintaining a secure, standard OS build process.
- Experience installing and managing PostgreSQL.
- Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
