Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Engineer to join our team in the Saint Inigoes, MD .
Basic Qualifications:
- Manage our customers Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), video and teleconference system(s) centralized around Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new VoIP/Video equipment and technologies for procurements
- Resolve complex problems to ensure interoperability of voice, video, and data services across multiple platforms
- Configure VoIP/Video equipment and subsystems
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and resolution
- Develop and recommend inputs to technical documentation to include engineering change requests, network diagrams, test procedures, installation instructions, technical directives, bulletins, and white papers
- Collaborate with Cyber Security professionals to assess the VoIP/Video systems compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), to include the completion of STIG checklists and vulnerability remediation
Education/ Experience Requirements:
- Current Cisco CCNA with 4 years of experience supporting CUCM. Must be willing to obtain Cisco CCNP Collaboration within 1 year of employment
- Experience designing, implementing, and managing large-scale VoIP, video ,and teleconference solutions
- Experience implementing DISA STIG controls
- Demonstrated experience with network technologies used to provide VoIP and video services to end users - routing, switching, firewall, QOS
- BS degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline
- Current DoD 8570 compliance - minimum CompTIA Security CE certification
- Cisco CCNA Certification
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with NIPRNET/SIPRNET and Type 1 encryption devices
- Experience in configuration of Cisco equipment
- Experience with Cisco Meeting Server (CMS) application programming interface (API)
- Experienced engineer that can lead, train, and develop fellow team members
- Current Cisco CCNP Collaboration
Physical Requirements:
Operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- U.S Secret Security Clearance required. In addition to the security clearance, this position may require an additional background screening for base access.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
