Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Survey Technician to join our Engineering team for a program that supports a variety of customer IT requirements with a focus on providing productive and collaborative computer workspace (new or renovated) to support dynamic mission requirements.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Reviews engineering designs and performs site surveys to determine material requirements.Works closely with procurement and requirements managers to ensure accuracy and timelines of all orders.Provides labor hours for projects/requirements to determine the Level of Effort (LOE).Attends meetings with customer for scope of work to be performed.Coordinates and assists with installation and documentation groups to ensure project implementation accuracy.Performs surveys and creates Bills of Material (BOMs) to support requirements.Creates and makes presentations to high-level technical personnel, and provides the skills and leadership essential to build and motivate an effective network engineering team.Provides weekly status reports, and other reports as required.Meets contractual performance criteria.Identifies opportunities to automate processes and increase efficiency.Coaching and reviewing the work of less-experienced professionals.Flexibility to support 24x7 operations; may need to work extended hours during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests.Basic Qualifications:Experience with cable testers, Auto-Cad, and ticketing systemsKnowledge of component and transmission medium compatibility and interconnection.Experience with cable testers, Auto-Cad, and ticketing systemsKnowledge of component and transmission medium compatibility and interconnection.Ability to select components based on cost and space limitations.Ability to work with schematic capture toolsAbility to travel as neededAbility to select components based on cost and space limitations.Ability to work with schematic capture toolsBA/BS and 2 years of experience, or a combination of education and work experience equivalent to 6 years.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with ServiceNow ITSM & ITOM.Experience managing projects from mid-high complexity.ITIL v4 certificationDoD 8570 IAM III certification.Hours of Coverage:Individual shift may vary, but you core hours will need to be covered, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Support may be required outside of core hours based on customer & mission needs.Security Clearance Requirements:Active and current TS/SCI with polygraph.Physical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.Must be able to move/traverse within and between buildings and offices.Must be able to position self to maintain computers, including under the desks and in the server closet.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. Must be able to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers; must be able to exchange accurate information.
