Visual Inspector

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform visual inspections of metal fabricated parts and assemblies to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect welds, machined surfaces, and finished products for defects or inconsistencies.
• Utilize measuring tools and gauges (e.g., calipers, micrometers, depth gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Document inspection results, including defects, non-conformance issues, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues and improve processes.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in quality inspection within the metal fabrication industry.
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes, including welding, machining, and assembly.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
