What are the responsibilities and job description for the Draftsman position at Marathon Electrical Contractors?
Marathon is looking for a Draftsman that can fill the roll of a BIM Modeler / VDC Coordinator, who's primary role is to develop electrical models for installation shop drawings.
The Draftsman will work in a team oriented environment, designing and drafting 3D models of the electrical systems for coordination and preparation of electrical installation drawings for various types of construction projects.
The position will provide the candidate an opportunity to grow within the company in an innovative and collaborative environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Understanding of Construction Documents
- Use modeling best practices to produce accurate models
- Coordinate model with design teams and subcontractors.
- Review Navisworks coordination models.
- Perform clash detection ensure documents and Revit Models are coordinated.
- Participate in coordination meetings with BIM Lead

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in BIM
