Marathon Health is seeking a full-time Registered Dietician (RD) Health Coach to provide lifestyle and condition management coaching for employees and families (ages 6 ) of Kwik Trip at their corporate health and wellness center in La Crosse, WI.
This is a 40 hour per week position with:

Responsibilities
- The Health Coach is responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships with our employer client, including ongoing communication, marketing of services and outreach, and ongoing assessment of performance.
- Collaborates with the client to assist in the execution of certain wellness programs.
- Provides individual comprehensive health reviews to identify an individual patient’s health risks and goals. Analyzes the individual’s health data to help the person prioritize and establish personal health goal(s).
- Provides ongoing coaching, teaching, and social support to help individuals build self-efficacy skills and achieve personal health goal(s).
- Uses national clinical guidelines and standards to provide medical nutrition therapy. Effectively collaborates and integrates with healthcare professionals, other suppliers of employee health benefits and services and community resources.
- Assists on site clinical director with rooming patients, checking vital signs, fingerstick biometric screenings and other skill appropriate clinical duties as assigned.
- Assists on site Medical Assistant with various administrative duties such as greeting patients, answering phones, assisting with scheduling as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be licensed as a certified as a registered dietitian with a minimum of three years professional, clinical experience.
- Knowledge and experience in health risk assessments, lifestyle risk reduction, disease management and health promotion required.
SKILLS
- Professional and technical knowledge.
- Ability to build and maintain trusting relationships.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong computer skills.
- Experience in motivational interviewing.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in counseling, social work or mental health a plus.
- Certified as a health coach with a background in chronic condition management.
- Additional certifications related to health promotion, fitness and chronic condition management a plus.
- Certified Diabetes Educator a plus.
Marathon Health COVID-19 Testing & Vaccination Policy
- Marathon Health requires all employees (excluding PRN employees) to undergo weekly COVID-19 tests for each week during which they are scheduled to work, in lieu of proof of vaccination. As of March 1, 2022, this process has been paused due to lowered community transmission, however this may be restarted in the future. COVID-19 vaccinated employees will not require weekly testing as long as they submit their vaccination records.
- Some of our clients have recently mandated COVID-19 vaccinations for their employees. All employees of ours at onsite clinics of these clients will require mandatory vaccinations. New clients continue to be added to this list daily and we cannot guarantee that new employees of Marathon Health at onsite locations will not eventually be asked to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Per state laws in California, New York, Washington and Oregon, all employees working in our health centers in those states must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment.
