Marc J. Bern & Partners LLP has handled numerous high-profile cases across the United States, including involvement in cases securing in excess of 3 billion in settlements and awards. The firm represents clients in mass torts cases, toxic torts cases, personal injury, medical malpractice, construction accidents, defective products, dangerous medications, consumer fraud, and product liability cases.
Our California office is looking for an attorney with 1-3 years of experience with mass tort, toxic tort, and/or personal injury in California courts. This opportunity is an in-person position within our Sherman Oaks office.
The ideal candidate will have experience taking and defending depositions, preparing pleadings and motions, attending court appearances, and will possess strong analytical, interpersonal, and organization skills and a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and must be admitted in California.
We offer a great opportunity to work in a small and collaborative environment while also working independently on his or her own caseload. This is a litigation-based practice focusing primarily on mass tort, toxic tort, and/or personal injury. We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits. Attorney Requirements:
JD from an ABA-accredited law school, with current admission in California.
- California Licensed Attorney;
- 1-3 years of experience with mass tort, toxic tort, and/or personal injury in California courts;
- Proven ability to handle cases independently from intake to trial;
- Experience with pleadings, written discovery, depositions, law and motion, and experts;
- Experience in dealing with sensitive subject matter;
- Willingness to assist other attorneys;
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
