GENERAL SUMMARY
Under limited supervision, plan and direct activities concerned with Development, Application and Maintenance of Quality Standards for Company Processes, Materials and Products by ensuring suppliers meet requirements to deliver the quantities and quality of product to meet the needs of manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Verbal communications daily with customer PQE.
- Creating process, system, and supplier audit and audit reports. This includes creating and maintaining follow-up items until all items have been closed.
- Communicate internally with department supervisors and managers with customer concerns and issues.
- Leading improvement activities with our suppliers - CKNA, Tier 2 Suppliers and customers.
- Responsible for Corrective Action Activity and leading activities to ensure all activities get closed in a timely manner.
- STF Member- has responsibility to provide input into ANPQP Activities/Control Plans.
- Responsibility for development/preparation/approval of supplier PPAP packages.
- Customer & supplier interaction as needed regarding quality and corrective action.
- Perform audits and attend miscellaneous meetings and scheduled training.
- Communicates frequently with internal and external contacts on various issues. Leads the improvement activities by creating and follow-up on action items.
- Lead PT trials by supporting manufacturing during the actual builds by helping with training the supervisors, leads, and line technicians.
- Takes the lead in design change functional builds and implementation by ensuring all changes (documents and poka-yokes) are working and up to date.
- Responsible for ensuring the quality of service orders via inspection and sign-off sheets.
- May serve in a lead role where general guidance and training of less experienced departmental team members is needed.
- Apply advanced skills to resolve complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices independently. May modify processes to resolve situations with appropriate approvals.
- Must rely on experience and exercise independent judgment to determine best approach to achieve desired outcomes. Course of action is often determined by interpreting procedures and polices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This work is performed in a general manufacturing and office environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The incumbent must:
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Have one to two years vocational technical training or an Associate’s Degree in related discipline with five to eight years experience in related area of responsibility.

- If do not meet above education requirements, must have minimum of nine years experience in related area of responsibility.
- Specialized skill training/certification may be required.
- Have experience working with integrated computer programs and/or applications.
- Have strong communication, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs.
- Be able to pass all background checks and pre-employment tests, including any required drug test.
- Be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information s/he encounters.

SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Intermediate to advanced experience (beyond basic data entry) working with computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other presentation applications
