What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary School Tutor position at Margot Tutoring Inc?
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Tutors will provide 1 hour (60 minutes) of in-home elementary tutoring per student per week
- Tutors are required to fill out a session form online after each tutoring session
- Tutors must keep in touch with their supervisor and the students’ parents on a regular basis
- Tutors must be reliable and punctual
- Tutors must follow the Company’s Dress Code
- Tutors must follow the Code of Ethics
- Tutors must attend at least 6 hours of professional development per year
Minimum Qualifications:
- NYS Teaching Certification in Education 1-6
- At least 1 year of elementary teaching or elementary tutoring experience (student teaching accepted)
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the students' homes
- Interview and References
