Mariani Packing Company, the largest independent dried fruit processor and packer in the United States, has openings for Shipping/Warehouse Operators with our growing operation in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. We have openings in the Warehouse / Shipping Department at the Cold Storage facility on 32nd St and in our production plant on Washington Ave. These positions report to the Warehouse Manager. The position generally works Monday through Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm and may require additional hours based on business needs. The position is Responsible for shipping and warehousing requirements. Ensures that shipping will meet all requirements necessary so that all work orders are shipped out accurately & on-time. Interacts with all levels of management as necessary. Is responsive and reacts to all internal and external requirements and requests. Is responsible for ensuring Food Safety objectives are met in accordance with company policies. Essential duties are as follows. Other tasks may be assigned as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Accountable for the accuracy & integrity of all shipments of outgoing Finished product.
Accountable for the accuracy & integrity of all incoming support products.
Responsible for Freezer sanitation, loading dock sanitation and forklift sanitation.
Accountable for the accuracy & integrity of all shipments of all incoming fruit.
Accountable for the accuracy & integrity of all outgoing loads
Responsible for inspection of truck and contents for items shipped and received to ensure product quality.
Responsible to analyze all fruit shipments and to report any shortage or BOL discrepancy to the warehouse manager or warehouse support specialist in a timely manner that allows the variance to be investigated.
Ensures loading dock bays are free of standing water.
Repetitive mounting and dismounting of a powered forklift.
Responsible to complete pre operational inspection of forklift.
Stacks and/or unstacks pallets, bins or barrels
Picks up pallets of case goods, supplies, etc. and transports them.
Loads and unloads cargo from semi-trailers as needed.
Plans, stages, calculates and loads vans, trucks and containers or other vehicles for transporting packed stock.
Completes all required loading information and corresponding paperwork on all shipments (incoming or outgoing).
Transport and loads knock downs safely and accurately for shipment.
Able to Pick orders
Load / Unload Trucks following logistics guidelines
Understand & follow first in first out inventory control practices
Forklift certified
Aids in inventory management
Complete all warehousing paperwork such as bills of lading, truck inspections, sign in logs or other required information legibly and accurately.
