Job Type Unclassified Department Flood Control District About the Position The Construction Project Manager (CPM) manages complex flood control construction projects and components by providing technical management expertise to multi-million-dollar projects. The CPM ensures flood control structures are built to specification, making in-the-field modifications as necessary, ensuring the final product will function as designed to provide protection to people and property during rain and flooding events. Perform technical reviews of shop drawings and other submittals Determine and document work completed, and materials used; prepare monthly pay estimates for construction contracts Attend pre-construction and regular meetings with clients, contractors, and other concerned parties to review project progress to facilitate the resolution of construction difficulties.
