REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR - PROFESSIONAL PRACTICES
POSITION SUMMARY: To coordinate, conduct, and document a variety of internal investigations of a confidential and sensitive nature and make recommendations regarding District action to the Director of Professional Practices. To work collaboratively with the Director of Professional Practices, Department of Children and Families (DCF), law enforcement agencies, school-based personnel, and other District personnel to complete thorough and comprehensive investigations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: L-Light Work – Required to push, pull, or lift up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Indoors/Outdoors The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside. The worker is subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education – Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution.
Experience – Minimum three years of verifiable successful administrative or investigative experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and training.
Computer Skills – Basic understanding and knowledge of the use of current technology, as required for the position. Experience in data entry and Microsoft Suite.
Certificates and/or Licenses – Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license or obtain within 30 workdays and the ability to drive.
Other Requirements – Must be able to travel to schools and work sites within the District.
