Description
The Installation Technician is responsible for assisting the Installation Lead with the installation of automatic and self-serve car wash systems, ancillary products and chemicals.
Requirements
Essential Functions
- Unloading and staging of new equipment on job sites
- Inspecting equipment prior to installation and document any damage occurred during shipment
- Installation of new car wash equipment
- Removal of old car wash equipment
- Maintains tools, test equipment, and materials in a professional manner
- Requires good communication skills
- Provides superior customer service when interfacing with customers
- Knowledge of proper use of power tools, i.e. hammer drill, grinder
- Accurately perceives information from others
- Assures appropriate flow of information and reports matters clearly, concisely and accurately
Education and/or Experience
- Requires 1-3 years related experience
- Previous experience with Car Wash equipment
Communication/Language Skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) is a must.
- Ability to read and comprehend documents and follow simple instructions.
Technical Competencies
- Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams
- Understanding of PLC controllers, low voltage control circuits and three-phase power
- Fork lift certification or ability to obtain certification

Personal Competencies: Extreme attention to detail and accuracy. Must be flexible to work days, nights or weekends if necessary. This position has a varying work schedule, 2 weeks on 1 week off is typical. Travel is required. Must be able to work in a team environment. Must have excellent employee and customer relation skills.
Safety: Must adhere to all safety rules, policies and regulations in relationship to OSHA and Mark VII Equipment standards. Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen, background check and have a clean driving record.
