As a Dining Host, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that every guest receives the highest level of hospitality from the moment they step through our doors.
Responsibilities:
1. Seat the Grill 225 dining room during the dinner hour.
2. Manage new dining reservations calls and confirm arrivals by phone.
3. Collaborate daily with food and beverage management.
4. Assist in planning seating arrangements for dinner service.
5. Warmly greet guests upon arrival and provide a memorable first impression.
6. Efficiently seat dining guests and assign tables to service staff members.
7. Assist in managing and updating guest data records in our software system.
8. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently, ensuring optimal use of dining
space
9. Communicate effectively with the dining room and kitchen staff to maintain smooth
operations
10. Provide guests with menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations
11. Anticipate guests' needs and accommodate special requests to enhance their dining
experience
12. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy
13. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and entrance area
14. Collaborate with the entire restaurant team to uphold our standards of excellence
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role, preferably in a fine dining establishment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
