Junior Front End Web Developer (Entry Level)

We are looking for a Junior Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to help create beautiful and functional websites for our clients. You will be tasked with maintaining our large portfolio of current client websites as well as working with the design team to take new website designs from creation to completion.

Essential Skills:

• Strong fundamental front-end development skills (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery)
• Responsive website development using front-end frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation, Skeleton, etc.)
• Version control basics (Git)
• Responsive HTML email development
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to fix them
• Proficiency in using industry design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Knowledge of SEO best practices
• Must be able to work in a fun, fast-paced, and detail-oriented environment
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new industry skills and trends

Additional Skills (not required):

• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, Angular, React, etc.)
• Knowledge of PHP, Python, Java, ASP, and other server-side languages
• Knowledge of using WordPress admin dashboard and WordPress theme development
• Knowledge of UI/UX Tactics
• Knowledge of Digital Marketing including Google Ads, Facebook Advertising, Instagram Ads, etc.
• Knowledge of ADA Compliancy
• Knowledge of web design best practices and trends

RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited:

• Maintaining and updating client websites
• Developing HTML emails for clients
• Sending out of emails via third-party bulk email clients (e.g. Constant Contact, Campaigner, Mailchimp, etc.)
• Development of existing and new client websites via team collaboration
• Collaborating with developers to complete development of redesigns and new client websites
• Other tasks as assigned

Other Conditions:

• Must have reliable transportation (when needed for in-office meetings).

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
