Marketing/Sales Specialist opportunity!
LabTemps is seeking an experienced Marketing/Sales Specialist for our client, a water treatment supplier. This marketing and sales role is a contract-to-hire opportunity in Wood Dale, IL. We seek a motivated, self-starter who is looking for a friendly, team-oriented environment and will strive to be an everyday, essential contributor to our team.
Marketing/Sales Specialist scope of work:
Develop, proofread, and modify new product release materials such as product literature, technical and sales manuals, training manuals and catalogs, etc.
Create social media posts for LinkedIn and Facebook.
Post social media posts, blogs, etc. to website, LinkedIn and Facebook accounts.
Maintain website, LinkedIn, and Facebook accounts.
Create Mailchimp marketing pieces and send to audience.
Maintain Mailchimp database.
Create product content such as case studies, videos, website copy and blog posts.
Participate in learning about products related to the concept of water treatment.
Schedule and make sales calls (in person) with new and established customers.
Prepare proposals for customers.
Prepare estimates and quotations including follow-up.
Initiate joint sales calls.
Maintain current business with existing clients while generating referrals for new and potential customers.
Perform business reporting, forecasting, and planning.
Position Qualifications:
Marketing/Sales Specialist Job Requirements:
A BS degree or equivalent work experience in sales or marketing.
Active and well-rounded personal presence in social media, with a command of each network and their best practices.
Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions.
Proficiency in marketing automation and blogging software in order to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and then nurture them (using dynamic workflows) into converted customers.
Marketing/Sales Specialist Bonus skills:
HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop
Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a "people person")
Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency
Position Benefits:
