Job Summary:
The Kiosk Wireless Consultant is a non-exempt role primarily tasked with customer/member experience and sales in the wireless kiosks operating inside Costco locations. This is a full-time position designed to sell the wireless suite of services on behalf of MarketSource as an Authorized Agent of Verizon Wireless. The wireless kiosk team will be expected to serve the Costco Member by offering wireless solutions that best fit member needs while increasing sales and revenue of products and services through direct selling. The KWC will be responsible for an individual sales goal that rolls up to the kiosk goal.
Essential Functions:
Drives personal sales productivity for wireless products and services while delivering an excellent customer experience to Costco Members
Grow sales performance and other key metrics through sales, training, and marketing promotions
Communicate in-store promotions, and coordinate with appropriate personnel
Position Verizon Wireless as best in class solutions and services while creating best-in-class customer/member experiences in selected kiosk location(s)
Be able to cover shifts at multiple kiosk locations within a small geography
Assist Wireless Kiosk Lead in communication of key initiatives and recommendations. Acts as a conduit for inclusive and efficient district-wide communication
Always represents MarketSource and our Verizon relationship in a professional manner
Relationships and Consultant Responsibilities:
Develops and manages positive business relationships with retail store leadership and employees where wireless kiosks are located
Manages and tracks progress against kiosk/personal goals and sales plan
Communicates progress and opportunities with Kiosk Lead, District Manager and MarketSource leadership
Serves as a business consultant for MarketSource Leadership team on process improvement and recommendations
Serves as a point of escalation for questions or issues including individual member issues
Partnering with MarketSource leadership, ensuring correct product mix, including but not limited to:
Ensuring proper merchandising at locations, including brand compliance and kiosk appearance
Increasing visibility of wireless products and services
Involved with new kiosk personnel training and onboarding
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required
2 years training, sales, retail management or related experience required
Prior wireless or electronics retail management preferred
Requisite Abilities and/or Skills:
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of wireless or electronics industry preferred
Proven record as leader, organizer, and/or teacher
Proven self-starter
Ability to take complex technology to simplified consumer value proposition
Smartphone required
Additional Job Requirements:
Flexible physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, standing and moving items
Requires the ability to move around the store, assist customers and maneuver merchandise when necessary
Performs additional job duties as assigned
