Description:
Markon is seeking a mid-level TS/SCI-cleared cyber/ information assurance/ information system security officer specialist to be located in the Quantico area supporting a Department of Defense client. There is little to no flexibility for telework due to system-specific requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Minimal to no telework options
- Monitor authentication efforts of multiple classified and unclassified information systems
- Performing a variety of technical, and non-technical Cyber Security duties that include but are not limited to:
- Training, and assisting users of information systems to ensure security procedures are followed.
- Investigating issues of concern through technical reviews, interviews, or other appropriate investigative steps.
- Conducting technical compliance assessments of information systems in accordance with established standards.
- Coordinating with system administrators, ISSMs, and information system owners to remediate vulnerabilities.
- Under the guidance of the ISSM and Senior ISSO, create or maintain policies, procedures, diagrams, or artifacts needed in support of ATO package submissions.
- Conducting technical compliance assessments of information systems in accordance with established standards.
- Provide regular reporting of updates and status on work to the Sr. ISSO.
Required:
- TS/SCI
- Must have 8570 IAM L1 (Security CE or equivalent)
- Experience with STIG analysis/mitigation statements/POAM
- Formal assessment (IVV and CCRI)
- XACTA/MCAST experience
- Familiar with RMF
- Familiar choosing and addressing security controls
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required.
