Build control panels with a combination of fabrication, assembly, and wiring activities. Panel types range from small to medium sized assemblies, some standard and some custom per project.
Install components, subassemblies, and wiring per schematics and specifications. Position, align, or adjust electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.
Hang panels onto systems and wire/pipe as needed; often with conduit.
Adjust, repair, or replace wiring or electronic components to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.
Qualifications & Educational Requirements
High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Skills & Abilities
Dependable, independent, responsive, and collaborative.
Team oriented
Able to read schematics, drawings, and specifications to determine component parts and assembly sequences.
Comfortable working with basic hand tools, measurement devices, and power tools (drills, saws, etc.)
Strong verbal communication
Perform general physical activities including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Document as required to identify any changes or deviations.
