Accountable for the coordination of all major business functions within the unit. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage the business location, leading it to be a collaborative, customer-focused, profitable division.
- Increase sales by ensuring that products meet customer needs and building relationships with the customers.
- Drive market awareness to anticipate future needs and product enhancements.
- Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibility for Business Unit to include managing costs, analyzing selling trends, and product forecasts.
- Manage/lead problem-solving and countermeasure activities to achieve both long-term and short-term goals.
- Oversees daily operational achievements; order management, fill rate, quality, efficiency, & shipping.
- Evaluates process workflow and identify opportunities for streamlining.
- Communicate with the executive team on the operational performance of the business unit.
- Lead direct reports in continuous improvement activities; hold direct reports accountable for actions and decisions.
- Problem-solves inventory shortages, pricing changes, and purchasing needs.
- Be active in maintaining an environment that fosters consultative supervision and teamwork to meet Warehouse, Operations, and Company goals.
- Manages all employee-related activities (i.e., hires, trains, appraises, rewards, motivates, disciplines).
- Provides ongoing development, feedback, coaching, and mentoring to the Operations Team.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to effectively direct the company's overall operations in order to maximize revenues and profits.
- Excellent time management, communication, decision making, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Applications
TRAINING and EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or related required.
- Minimum of 15 years in high technology business functions.
- 10 years of progressive management and leadership experience.
