Cleaning Technician
The Cleaning Technician performs mechanical assemblies, cleaning and etching operations and surface finish procedures. This Technician should demonstrate reading and math skills and the desire to work in a manufacturing environment along with the ability to work with others, good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

General Duties/Responsibilities
- Performs various finishing and buffing activities to obtain correct surface finish requirements per engineering specifications.
- Performs mechanical assemblies, cleaning and etching operations to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain time log for all work orders processed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED desirable.
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, internal sketches, and specifications provided by engineering department.
- Knowledge of buffing, blasting, abrasives, buffing compounds, blasting media and tools/equipment utilized when performing these tasks.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Basic computer skills required for data entry.
- Detail oriented and quality conscious.
- Ability to visually inspect parts, identifies unacceptable material, and ensures finish results meet company standards.
Physical Requirements
- Able to frequently lift up to 25lb and occasionally up to 50lb.
- Able to work 12 hour shifts and overtime when required.
- Able to properly wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required for the area of operation such as gloves, ear protection, eye protection, smocks, etc.
- Able to sit or stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, lift, reach above shoulders, pull, push, climb up/down stairs.
