Packaging Technician
The Packaging Technician is accountable for the filling and packaging of products produced by Acumed and our Contract Associates/suppliers.
General Duties/Responsibilities
- Packaging of screws, plates and other Acumed products as required.
- Packaging of Sterile products inside Cleanroom.
- Labeling and Cartoning of Acumed products.
- Identifying In-process non-conformities.
- Printing of labels used in production runs.
- Maintain impeccable cGDP data.
Experience/Skills Required:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years minimum experience in manufacturing.
- Ability to read and understand packaging instructions on routers.
- Familiar with label guide for printing of labels.
- Well versed in cGMP.
- Familiar with database maintenance and data collection.
- Ability to multitask several processes at once.
- Attention to detail a must.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Medical device experience a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 35lbs and occasionally up to 50lbs.
- Will be required to sit at a desk and stand on a tile floor for extended periods.
- Requires working while wearing personal protection equipment such as gloves, goggles and gowns.
