As Marqeta’s Senior Asset Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing Marqeta’s IT assets, both hardware and software across our Global teams. In this highly collaborative role, you’ll be ensuring Marqeta’s hardware assets are accounted for, deployed, maintained, upgraded, and disposed of properly at end of life; you’ll be responsible for delivering enhanced SaaS tool insights, analysis, and financial decision models to business partners that drive Marqeta’s business objectives.

What You’ll Do
- Manage over 1000 IT devices per ITIL standards, from procurement to end of life
- Order, manage configuration, and fulfill all New Hire Onboarding equipment in a timely manner
- Fulfill peripheral and specialty IT asset requirements
- Provide IT asset and equipment storage room services to facilitate the receipt, storage, issuance and disposal of IT assets and equipment to personnel
- Perform a full physical inventory of all IT assets located in IT asset storage rooms, and provide reports
- Keep the IT asset storage area room maintained in an organized manner as to facilitate asset retrieval and inspection, and to protect the assets from damage
- Assist with physically locating IT assets not found during employee self-certification and/or electronic inventories performed on IT assets
- Provide input and maintain an Asset Management Plan and Operating Procedures
- Deliver SaaS tool insights, including usage analysis to drive financial decision models
- Maintain Saas tool records including role assignments for subject matter experts and vendor points of contact
- Manage Saas tool renewals in accordance with contracted schedule
- Work with minimal direction while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
What We’re Looking For
- Able to work physically within our Oakland, CA Headquarters
- Minimum 5 years experience in IT Enterprise environment
- Project Management and Vendor Management skills in the IT Enterprise environment
- Possess knowledge of IT asset management processes and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to manage assets according to ITIL Lifecycle
- Experience in Google Workspace, JIRA, and Jamf required
- Experience in Zylo or equivalent Saas Management and optimization tool is required
- Strong written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills
- Must be extremely detail oriented and experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
